NOTE: All listed Jean Tanazacq knives were made bewteen 1978-1986. Early models bearing four markings on blade are the rarest-From 1978 to 1984 all knives wre handforged- At the very beginning (1978) his knives had one screw only in the butt cap until 1982-From 1983 to 1986 two screws were seen in the butt cap. Many listed models are prototype and were never reproduced-Most knives comes with COA written in French and are offered with the original knife data record sheet in color-which denotes the knife's configuration-date of manufacture and when such knife as appeared in coutless French publication,(Gunss magazines-archery-knife publication, and others, etc...). .

. Jean Tanazacq's exceptional and extremely rare "Natchez Bowie" made in 1980 witt the rarely seen two markings on blade ( Map of France and wild boar). first such model to be constructed. Blade is 11-3/8" by 1-3/4" by well over 3/8" steel stock. Rosewood handle, extra large brass guard and matching brass butt cap. Contained in the original brown leather scabbard bearing the wild boar carving in front. After 1984 any knives made byTanazacq were only stamped with the wild boar logo. Only one model was ever produced .
