Phenomenal Shiva Ki large Damascus Tanto made in 1979, which happen tobe the largest such model ever produced. This exceptional knife bears a 12-inch blade that is 1-3/4-inch wide at the widest part, from over 5-16" stock, 21-1/2-inch overall, large "square" Damascus guard, woolly mammoth ivory tusk tip ofor the handle. The front of the blade is etched SHIVA as the blade bears the extremely scarce Imperial Palace stamp Japanese Mon or "Kamon" crest. Only the royal family can use this stamp on their blades. Armor peircing tip,(see photo # 3). No scabbard was ever made for that knife, as it is an exhibition piece. Never used, sharpened, or carried. This is another seldom seen true vintage Shiva Ki knife from another era. NOTE: Special Limited Numbered Edition 260-page Collector's book on Shiva Ki is included in the sale, only 12 copies were printed. . Sold "AS IS," all sales are final, no return, no exchange.
