HAROLD CORBY ONE-OF-A-KIND BOWIE-CAMP-FIGHTER-SURVIVAL KNIFE-FROM AMERICA'S BEST KEP-SECRET-A MASTER CRAFTSMAN FROM TN!
Description: Harold Corby's one-of-a-kind Bowie type knife, is a survival/fighter/camp model created uniquely while based on all my original designs, sketches, and notes from 35 years ago. Blade is a bit over 11" in lenght, with a hollow grind type from ATS-34 steel, made by the stock removal method. Hardness 60 on the Rockwell scale. Double German silver guard with matching German silver butt cap, ,and Harold onw made 99.99% pure German silver ferrule/collar with carved scalloped grooves, and a large choil for finger placement .Plates were destroyed in April 17, 2013 when I personally went to pick up this beauty at Harold's home in TN. Comes with a three-page provenance letter, all original sketches, notes, designs and Corby's final changes to the original grinds and bevels to allow for a full metal thickness at the ricassso and at the knife's spine along with the original Certificate of Origin. Knife was further embellished and offered with a specially made alligator skin scabbard as per Harold's final touch of class, elegance and prestige on an already astonishing piece, his "surprise" as he pointed-out. Handle is a combination of African Macassar ebony with ivory spacers ( the only time Harold has made such combination) . This model will never be duplicated. Knife bears a German silver escutcheon with 1 of 1 in the center. Harold is now fully retired. One of the very best maker in the world- Harold Corby Master Craftsman from TN. Free shipping witin the Continental United States only. As of today I have sold 145 custom knives on this wonderful site (129 Randall's to date). Note: There seems to be a computer glitch as the main title shows words that are cut , part of other words: or added symbols and numbetrs ? It should read " From America's best-kept secret..... Thank you very much for looking. SOLD
