Indian/Span Am Wars US Blue Cavalry/Army Tunic/Matching Garrison Kepi

Description:
A rare Indian War s/Spanish American War era tunic and matching garrison Kepi/hat. Guaranteed original 1880's/1890's US Blue Army/Cavalry tunic. This tunic is in great condition.  The colors are excellent and vibrant.....a little dusty. No rips or loose stitching, just a couple of moth nips  smaller than a pea. No missing buttons. The sleeve linings are in tack/nothing loose or torn. 
       Tis tunic was probably used by a Adjutant (Officers personal staff)soldier probably working on Cavalry boards (no sewing or buttons). The Cavalry boards (found in the inside pocket)would make the uniform correct for promotion to Cavalry second lieutenant.  The matching Garison hat,  with original chin strap is a rare find by itself. Made by a rare Albany New York maker  that will make a fabulous addition to any US Cavalry, museam,  western era  or Military collection and display.
