Canadian Artillery Officer's Uniform No. 1 Dress Tunic

Description:
This is a black gabardine, four pocket tunic having the crown and cannon buttons of the Royal Artillery. The stand collar has die-stamped flaming bomb and "UBIQUE" riband devices and there is a synthetic white inner collar secured by a series of small metal studs on the inside. A single Canadian Forces Decoration ribbon is present above the left breast pocket and the epaulettes are not present. The interior has a black silk lining which is in excellent condition and a sewn-in label inside the interior pocket that reads, "TAILORED ESPECIALLY FOR/MR. V. MATTHEWS/Date SEPT. 58 Order No. 1455/SIMPSOSNS (sic) HALI(FAX)". Also included is a pair of black worsted uniform trousers with scarlet stripes down the legs and mild staining. This is an excellent uniform ensemble and would make a nice addition to any collection.
