Gunwerks G7 BR2 Ballistic Rangefinder
Description: I purchased the Gunwerks Rangefinder in 2013 (new) due to the advaced technology it combined with a ballistic computer, a weather station, and an angle measurement device in order calculate a precise ballistic solution for compensating for bullet drop and wind deflection. The rangefinder did not disappoint in anyway as it lived up to all the expectations that Gunwerks claimed. I suspect I've used the unit 15-20 times over the years as I'm fortunate enough to have steel tagets set at ranges from 500-1500 yards. I've compared the distance readings with a friend's Gunwerks BR2 and they are always and when are both mounted on tripods they are within 1 yard of one another. Additionally, I have a Swarovski 8X30 Rangefinder, and it also reads with 1 yard of both the Gunwerk devices.More importantly, if the proper information is entered into the ballistic profile for the BR2, it won't disappoint. The Gunwerks units are relatively easy to use, and much more so if you spend just a little time practicing. What I'm trying to say is you don't have to possess a degree in computer science to operate this unit. So, after such a glowing recommendation, why sell it? The reason being that Gunwerks has produced a unit with a bit longer ranging capabilites out to the the 2500 yard range, and I just had to give it a "shot". There is absolutely nothing wrong with this BR2 unt, It works very well, has been stored inside, and due to long periods of inactivity the battery has always beern removed. The appearance, inside and out, is like a brand new unit. Check the reviews all over the internet; it's a great device. The device comes with the original carrying case, over the neck carrying strap, and instruction manual. I will ship the unt for free to all United States locations. SOLD |
