Leupold M8 8x Vintage Fixed Power Scope

According to the Leupold , this socpe was manufactured in 1987.

The serial number of the scope is U135063.

This is an M8 Model in the 8 Power format.

Scope is just about flawless, and crystal clear.  We took the pictures today, and took the scope outside to get a picture of the view through the scope.  It was cloudy, overcast, raining, and generally dreary.  At least you are able to see the crosshairs and the dot reticle.  The scope is clear, and it simply has as the background the elements of the weather and the sky.  

Again, the camera has three lenses, and the little flaws that you might see are greatly magnified when shown close up.  

It has the fine crosshairs and dot reticle.  It is in excellent overall condition with a few tiny marks on the scope itself.  Pleas look closely at the pictures to help determine condition of this very desirable scope.

This scope has the most desirable reticle of the entire series.  These gloss fixed power scopes are way-no-longer being manufactured.  It would be a perfect scope to match up with an iconic .257 Weatherby Magnum, or, perhaps a .264 Winvhester Magnum or any Classic Vintage Rifle.

In my personal opinion, these look superb on Griffin & Howe's, Weatherby's, Pre-64 Model 70's, Sako's, or Remington's.

The overall length of the scope is 12."  
Rear objective diameter is 1.55."
Front objective diamter is 1.66."
