Description:
This is a very nice shell and bush flask by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield in near excellent condition. Standing 4 ¾? tall with the body of 2" width of just over 1". The copper body and brass screw off plain top with adjustable charger have an amazing patina with very slight blemishes, fully functioning with an excellent spring and screw out charger. The shell and bush pattern is on both sides of the flask. This flask is described and identified by Ray Riling in his book "The Powder Flask Book" on pg. 287 and pictured on pg. 288, #307. Hard to find these size flasks in such great condition.;
