Description:
This model is rarely seen, and then usually in the 25-21/25 Stevens or 25 SS. This is the scarce small die version (310 dies will NOT fit) of a No. 3. Has the usual early New Haven markings and "22-15-60" on one side, and two patent dates on the other.

Has the early bullet sizing station and retains about 90%of the original nickel finish, with a few small spots of flaking, as shown.

The single adjustable die has been chewed up a bit but still shows "38", which I believe was the bullet designation.

IMO, it will be some time before one of these shows up again.
