This is an antique Ideal shotgun shell reloading press for paper cartridges and black powder. It clamps onto a table with powder and shot measure on top and 12 Gauge shotshells are loaded from the bottom and held in place with a hand pull chain to compress the load. It has patent dates of Oct. 1, 95 and Aug. 16, 92. It measures 25 inches in height not including the pull chain and remains in very fine condition with much of the original paint remaining and mechanically functions. A seldom seen complete Ideal press.
