Description:

Mauser C96 shoulder stock as would normally accompany a Pre-War or Standard Wartime Commercial pistol, looped hinge and iron # 269. Complete with an original military carrier as would have been issued with a Red 9 or Standard Wartime Commercial pistol, the back surface manufacturer marked and dated “1918” along with unit marking “P.H. 1.116”, later exported as reflected by the much smaller “MADE IN GERMANY”. Included is an original cleaning rod. No follower spring in pouch.

Condition:

VG+. The stock having most of its original finish with the scattering of handling marks and bruises. Very small chip by grip recess as imaged. The iron with no suggestion of repolishing or reworking. Carrier is oil darkened, with crazing, nicely marked with intact stitching. Comparable condition cleaning rod with moderate staining of shaft. A very nice accessory that you can split up: matching the stock to a Pre-War or Wartime Commercial pistol and mating the leather carrier/rod to complete your Red 9 Rig!
