Description:
Antique set of powder and shot measures by James Dixon & Sons, England. This would make a nice accessory set for your 12 bore English shotgun. The powder measure is marked "1105" and is graduated 3-4 drams in 1/4 dram steps. The shot measure is marked "1106" and is graduated 1 - 1 1/2 oz. in 1/8 oz. steps. Both have excellent handles with no damage and nearly all the original varnish. The powder measure shows almost no use while the shot measure has been used and shows some tarnish.
