Excellent Early Winchester 1880's Box 32 Short Rim Fire Black Powder Ammo
Description: This is a full box, 50 correct rounds, of .32 Short RF black powder ammunition manufactured by Winchester. The two piece box has an excellent primary and side seal labels with the top having the early "Metallic Cartridges" labeling with the incorrect Stetsons Patent date of Oct. 24, 1871 and an orange side seal label with the Lubricating patent date of Sept. 12, 1882 placing this box in the mid to late 1880's. In excellent condition the box is solid except for slight seam separation on one of the top corners with very mild age darkening. The Graphics remain excellent with only a few minor flakes marring the labels that have dark and crisp colors and a excellent cartridge cut. The cartridges are in excellent condition. A fantastic early Winchester box in a great caliber ready to pair with your antique pistol. SOLD |
