This is a full box, 41 original and 9 non-matching, rounds of .44 Winchester (.44-40) black powder ammunition manufactured by UMC with 217 grain bullets. The two piece, round corner box has an intact primary and with 80-85% intact side seal label and features a nice cartridge cut with Model 1873 Winchester call out along with Colt on the side label. The box is in fine condition with mild age soiling and some buckling along the sides. The 41 native UMC cartridges are head stamped "44 C.F.W." and are in very good condition with some age darkening the balance are "WRA CO" marked. A fine box to display with your old 1873 Winchester rifle or Colt revolver.
