Winchester Staynless 40-72 WCF Smokeless Ammo Full Box Model 1895

Description:
This is a full box, 20 rounds, of .40-72 smokeless ammunition manufactured by Winchester with 300 grain soft-point bullets for the model 1895 rifle. The two piece orange label box with Non-Mercuric and Staynless labeling is non-dated and according to Giles & Shuey One Hundred Years of Winchester Cartridge Boxes, 1856-1956 p222 was the last of the undated box that was post early 1930's. The box shows light edge and corner wear with some age soiling and staining. The cartridges show some age darkening and light oxidation on several of the heads.
