Description:
Offered are 7 Boxes of 1942 Dated 7.92 German Mauser Ammo. There are 15 rounds in each original box. Theses are rounds for Tropical use in North Afica, the Balkans and the Mediterranean Theaters. There are sealed for extreme weather conditions (sand, water, etc.) and so marked with a green ring around the shell. Later in the war all ammo was sealed in the same way and the green ring was not applied. The boxes and shells were manufactured by AVU (Siva Metalwerke) GmbH Werk, Genthin (Saxona-Anhalt region) and marked on the bottom of the shell case (reference, Stephentaylorhistorian). The boxes are in excellent condition, the ammo is free of corrrosion; they have been in a dry location since at least 1986 when I came into possession of them. I have 7 boxes. I'm selling them for $150 per box; I am open to offers and a discount for buying mutiple boxes or the whole lot. Please ensure that ammo can be shipped to your state and whether you need an FFL to receive or not.
