Thompson/Center Custom Shop Encore - ProHunter BBL - 6.5 Remington Magnum


Description:
This is a 23.25" barrel from the T/C Custom Shop. This is a heavy profile barrel (similar in diameter to factory 26" barrels), not bull, has the standard T/C twist rate of 1:08. There is no provision for rifle sights, just a 4 hole scope base and it wears the standared T/C Custom Shop integral muzzle brake. It's in excellent shape, strong rifling, and shoots well. This is the second 6.5 Rem Mag Encore barrel I've owned, the first being a high luster gloss barrel. It was sold in favor of the matte finish, and both shot identically well. That said, I've accrued quite a bit of reloading components and tools that I will make available for sale to the buyer after the sale of the barrel, should he have interest. I have unfired new (old stock), and some cleaned, once fired Remington (R-P) brass, dies sets, as well case forming tools.
