"WWII Japanese Type 30 Hooked Quillon Bayonet Kokura Supervision (51549)
Description:
"Serial no. 75227. Manufactured during WWII by an unknown maker under Kokura Arsenal supervision. The bayonet features a 15 ½"" blued blade with manufacturing marks noted on the ricasso. Overall condition is very good. The two-piece wooden grips remain in very good condition with minimal handling wear. The pommel is marked “75227." The scabbard shows light surface oxidation consistent with age and storage. Early Type 30 bayonets with hooked quillons were widely issued and later simplified during wartime production, making these earlier pattern examples desirable among collectors.
