EXCELLENT BRITISH WILKINSON MADE P1887 OR 1887 MK III SABER / SWORD BAYONET & SCAB. FOR THE MARTINI HENRY RIFLE, DATED 1889. For the Martini Henry breechloading rifle and will fit the Mk.1 thru Mk. IV rifle. 23 3/4" overall with correct unfullered blade with "Wilkinson/ Sword Company/ London" under "89" date under "Crown/VR" crisply struck on ricasso with opposite stamped crisply "Broad Arrow/ WD" and "Crown/ 49/ W". Same "Crown/49/W" double struck on back of blade. Blade measures 18 1/4". Correct original grip scales held by rivets with NO losses or cracks. Never refinished or polished. Correct leather & steel scabbard serial numbered on throat with perfect stitching and leather untouched and original staples holding throat and drag. Possible Egyptian numbers on frog button. Prime example in untouched condition and just like the day it left the Sudan or Middle East.
