M4 CASE Bayonet & M8 Scabbard

Description:
M4 Bayonet fits M1 Carbine used in WWII. Bottom of crossguard is etched with "USM4" and "CASE". The
number 4 and the letter E are partly worn. Top of crossguard is etched with the flaming bomb ordnance mark.
The bayonet handle is hard rubber with 6 grooves. The 2 spring releases in the pommel work fine. The
butt end is deep stamped with the letter "P" and is then stamped over with the letter "S" arsenal mark. The
bayonet is 11 and 1/2" total length. The blade is 6 and 1/2" and has been sharpened, but has no nicks
or cuts. The metal neck of the scabbard is etched with "U.S.M8" and "B.M.CO."
INCLUDED AT NO CHARGE IS AN M1956 PISTOL BELT. IT IS ADJUSTABLE TO 42" WITH A
HORIZONTAL COTTON WEAVE WITH BRASS/STEEL GROMMETS AND BUCKLES.
