PATTERN 1907 BAYONET AND SCABBARD BY CHAPMAN FOR ENFIELD No 1 Mk. III DATED
1917
Description: Pattern 1907 bayonet for the Enfield No. 1 Mk. III made by Chapman, with scabbard. The blade is dated “4 17.” The bayonet is in as-found condition from an estate and exhibits evidence of use, with old nicks on the edge. The leather is fragile and not supple, thus the lower price. It is suitable only for display. It is a fine old War Horse from World War I that would look wonderful on exhibit. The leather frog and fittings mounted on the scabbard are not flexible. The broken pieces and buckle can be omitted from shipping, if you let me know. Shipping $20 USA. I accept PayPal, postal money order, or bank check. If not F&F on PayPal, 3% fee. SOLD |
