Description:
This 22 inch bayonet remains in very good condition with grey patina on the factory sharpened blade. Ricasso shows nice blue with good stampings, the eagle is only partially stamped. Guard and pommel show oxidation and staining with 60% blue. Wood grip scales show light wear and remain in excellent shape. This comes in a second style scabbard with partially visible jewell makers mark on back. Leather shows scratches and light wear, the initials DM are scratched into back near tip. Scabbard furniture is brown with clear GF in oval markings. A very good example.
