Description:
WW1 MAUSER GERMAN PRUSSIAN MODEL 1898/05 GEWEHR 98 BUTCHER BAYONET & SCABBARD. Made in 1916 with Wilhelm II or Prussia cypher on back of blued blade. Alex Coppel / Solingen marked ricasso with other correct proofs throughout. Excellent wood grip panels with slight battle damage to one and correct round screws/washers. Steel scabbard with replaced nickel throat device(reversed). Black painted scabbard with frog button.
