WWI British P 1907 Second Model Sanderson Bayonet
Description:
This is a British Pattern 1907 second model made by Sanderson in 09/18. This bayonet was sent to Canada and has the Canadian C Broad Arrow on the pommel. The blade is in excellent unsharpened condition with light oxidation and nearly unmarred edge and correct tip but is 1/4" shorter at 16 3/4" also is blued for the first inch and grayish parkerized for the remainder. The crossguard shows signs of normal wear and light oxidation with most of the original blue. The handle has a deep rich patina with no visible proof marks on either sides. Lastly ending in a functional rifle lug pommel with CBA markings and the correct oil cleaning hole. Comes with a correct leather scabbard with tight stitching and proof mark, in excellent condition.
