About Us: Gale River Traders was established in the early 1980’s in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We started out buying, selling, and trading at the large & frequent gun shows Colorado was known for back then. After relocating to New Hampshire in 1995, we established our online business, specializing in vintage gun parts, militaria, accoutrements, and related ephemera. Our goal is to provide you with quality items at reasonable prices, and moreover, to help you find that elusive part that restores your gun, or that scarce item to enhance your collection. In addition to selling, we are always open to buying & trading, and reasonable offers are always considered! Thanks for looking!
WWII U.S. Army Model 1911A1 Magazine - Scarce Contractor Code G - General Shaver - Remington Rand
Description: If You're a Veteran, Active-Duty Military or Service Member's Family - Thank You! ***PRICE JUST LOWERED*** $30.00 Off Until 4th of July!!*** Was $125, now $95!! Offered for your consideration is a genuine WWII era .45 ACP magazine for the Government Model 1911A1 pistol. The top lip of the base plate is marked with a G, indicating it was manufactured by the General Shaver Division of Remington Rand. This is the Type 5F magazine, as referenced in Joe Poyer's book, "The Model 1911 and Model 1911A1 Military and Commercial Pistols", characterized by the rectangular marks where the sides of the magazine were welded onto the base plate. This magazine is correct for WWII era Remington Rand pistols. Overall a great .45 auto magazine, manufactured by a highly desirable and less common government contractor! Any questions? Just ask! Please note that all my items are subject to sale elsewhere, so if you are interested in this magazine, you should buy it sooner than later before it gets sold and removed from Guns International. See my other listings for more vintage militaria, firearms, gun parts, sporting goods, and other great stuff! Shipping & Other Details: FREE domestic shipping via economy ground services. Expedited shipping and insurance available at cost. Please ask any questions you may have before purchase, and I would be glad to answer them. Gale River Traders has been selling online for more than 30 years with a stellar satisfaction rating, so buy with confidence! SOLD Handgun Caliber: .45 ACP (.45 Auto) |
