2 Revolver Cart. Boxes...2 Relic Bugles...1872 Hosp. Canteen ...&...3 18th-19th Century Bayonets
Description: ***Indian War...R.I.M. Cartridge Box***............................... (RHODE ISLAND MILITIA)...STAMPED WATERVELIET ARSENAL,...Great Condition. Minor flaking. SEE MY OTHER S AND COMBINE SHIPPING! qq1-5.........................................................***Revolver Cart. Box***.............................: Marked J. Davy & Co. Newark NJ, and TG Shepard. Very Good condition! ...Both loops and latching loop in very good to fine condition. Box is 6 1/4" x 4 1/2".... 2 stitches separated at upper LH corner of inner box. Very attractive .44 cal cartridge box!.......Greg HH1-8.....................****2 Brass Bugles****................... 19th Century One Civil War Era, the other late 19th Century. Both have seen better days. The small one is around 9 1/4" and the larger one is about 18". The shadows from the photo, makes the large one look like it has a hole, it doesn't. It is missing a section of tubing. The smaller one is complete......a116-119.......................................****UNUSUAL Pat. Mar. 30, 1872 Curved Canteen...HOSPITAL, hot water bottle****................................. 10" x 1 1/4"... It has a RAISED CROSS, Screw Lid and a handle. The lid has another Pat. date of Mar. 30th 1858. That was the year, screw lids were invented for Mason Jars. The fact that it is curved would cause me to believe it was filled with warm/hot water, and apply to the stomach. If anyone can shed light on this, please let me know. 10/18..........................***3 Early Bayonets***.........They don't fit any Civil War muskets, they are too small. One has a tag that says: "Foreign 1853". But is smaller than the m1853 Enfield (20 1/2"). Another has a tag that says: "Belgium". (17 1/2") and the 3rd has no tag and is likely 18th sentury (18")............S/H $27 NO PAYPAL. SOLD |
