A Civil War Emerson & Silver Model 1860 Cavalry Sword Dated 1864

Description:
An Early Civil War Emerson & Silver Model 1860 Cavalry Sword Dated 1864 In Very Good Untouched Condition. All original and complete. The sword has very good metal including the blade, with very clear markings. The blade is clearly marked on one side "EMERSON & SILVER/TRENTON/NJ". The other side is also clearly marked "U.S./D.F.M./1864". The metal on it has a nice untouched natural patina throughout it. The original brass guard, pommel, and grip with wire are nice throughout as shown. The top of the pommel is also marked "D.F.M." The scabbard is very good throughout with some small light peppering in a couple of small spots towards the top. The drag is marked "D.M." It has a very nice untouched natural patina throughout it. This Is A Very Nice Looking Example Of A Civil War Emmerson & Silver Model 1860 Cavalry Sword Dated 1864!
