Others have been used by Colt as Book Covers.."Colt's Pioneer to Civilization and Christianity" Presentation Book Case with Relief Gutta Percha Cover for a Colt Model 1855 "Root" as seen in Rock Island Aug '24 sale LOT 203..
It would ALSO make a perfect box for Miniature pistols by Larry Smith or other makers of Miniature pistols.. or custom made knives
Excellent condition , solid hinges.. No cracks or warpage.. Tiny ding in upper corner (see pics)
