Colt Sauer Exceptional Grain Sporting Rifle Stock

Description:
An exceptional grained  Monte Carlo-style walnut for a Colt Sauer,  in very good to very good plus condition with scattered very light dings and light handling marks from storage all these years. Has a sling swivel stud at the tow line and the front stud.The stock measures about 32 1/4” overall and features a left-side cheek piece, rosewood grip cap with inlaid rampant colt and rosewood forend tip with white line spacers, robust checkering on the  and forend, and a factory “COLT SAUER / SPORTING RIFLE” marked ventilated recoil pad giving an estimated 13 1/2” length of pull. The stock shows nice straight on the both sides of the butt and along the forend, and is fit with QD sling swivel studs on the toeline and near the forend tip.The distance from the front floorplate screw center to rear trigger guard screw center is about 8 3/16.  May have a couple small dings or nicks from 50 years of storage. A fine stock  for your Colt Sauer Sporting Rifle., and difficult to find an original one. No breaks, cracks or repairs. I can show you in photos barreled action, not included, not for sale. 100% a .30-06 stock and for larger calibers.These are being re-produced for $2000+ Has factory installed sling swivel studs.
