Blackfeet Leggings

Description:
Native American Blackfeet Indian (possibly Assiniboine or Gros Ventre) leggings with bead strips and beaded cuffs. The red design is one that has been used for many decades and was originally a quill work design although in a more drawn out and delicate fashion. Brain tanned elk with 5” fringe. Bead strips moved over from an older piece. Would make a great addition to a handmade indigenous beadwork collection or would display nicely in a Southwestern style home. Size: 30"
