Description: Price reduced $200.00 to $685.00This is a highly polished jawbone of a walrus heavy and measuring 10 inches long by about 4 inches at the widest point. It almost has the look of a whales body. There is a wonderful scrimshaw on the side of a Walrus with full tusks on an ice flow with birds in the sky. There is a walrus Ivory Native Inuit standing on the flat surface on the jaw. This is no small carving. The Inuit measures 3 3/4 inch by 2 inches across his body. Crosshatching is evident.
