Description: Native American Navajo Indian Wide Ruins weaving. Purchased 1997 in Jacob Leg, Arizona from the Jacob Leg Inn. The weaver was Lena Begay. Fine and colorful weaving. 26 1/2" x 36". Lena is an accomplished Navajo weaver from Teec Nos Pas on the Navajo Reservation in northeast Arizona. Lena specializes in pictorial rugs like the Tree of Life weaving. Lena's weavings are woven with great skill technically and artistically, and are sought after by many collectors and other rug buyers across the country. Would display nicely in a handmade indigenous collection, or as decor in a Southwestern farm or ranch house or modern home.
