VINTAGE "BABY" REDFIELD RIFLE SCOPE, 2 3/4X, 3/4" TUBE, IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH RINGS.  Old Redfield Company made in Denver, CO, USA.  I believe this scope was made  in the 1960's-1970's time period.  I field tested this scope by sighting it in, mounted on a .22 Brno rifle with live ammunition and all functions appear to work as they should.  WHY BUY AN UNTESTED SCOPE?  Most sellers of vintage rifle scopes do not field test their scopes with live ammunition-they let you do it!  This scope comes with a nice set of vintage ring/mounts (not marked) for grooved receivers-see the photo.  The scope is approx. 9 3/8" in length and weighes approx. 6.1 oz.  The scope has a fine line crosshair reticle.The optics are clean and clear.  The scope has a nice glossy black finish-see the photos.  This scope shows that it was very well cared for by all of it's former owners and shows no signs of any abuse or mishandling. The Redfield Company advertised these scopes as a smaller type scope for both .22  and high power rifles.  These scopes are now very scarce and are highly prized by shooters and collectors, who wish to pair a vintage scope with a vintage rifle of the same time period.  I purchased this scope already mounted on a very early BRNO MODEL ONE .22LR rifle that I bought from Ohio Ordnance Works, Inc., which is a very large and very well known gun dealer with a great reputation and very high positive feedback.  They sell many fine rifles.  Since I am over 70, my shooting eyes require a scope with a minimum of at least 9 power, even shooting at the bench at 50 ft. in my gun club's indoor range.  So, since I am no longer a gun collector, I have now listed this fine scope on GunsInternational.  This is a great opportunity to buy a great American classic scope at a great price!
