Custom Hand Made 17" Bowie & Sheath by CBR

Description:
Custom hand made 17" Bowie with sheath built by CBR some years ago. This could be considered NOS as has never been used and sat on  a shelf in closet for years. The handle is a "Coffin" handle design affixed to the tang by actual through brass pins. The handle wood is smoked maple. Guard is solid brass with hand filed filagree. Blade measures 12" OAL X 2" wide. Hand filed filagree along the blade back. The "heart" cut out is known in Native American circles as the "Blood Heart" indicating bravery! The hand made and stitched leather sheath shows the "Blood Heart" impression and hand tooled details. Stitching is unique and made of sinue with a double "X" pattern with leg lanyard, The leather handle keeper has a piece of moose horn as a slide adjustment. A beautiful, rare and unique piece.
