EARLY "H.H. HEISER" HOLSTER Few people realize that Herman H. Heiser was an accomplished saddler in the 1860s and moved to Denver in 1874 to open a shop there. This holster takes a 6 1/2" or shorter small frame revolver. This is a slim double loop style holster. A H. H. Heiser model #12-16 Right Side Holster in very good condition. No loose stitching, no scars, no scratches, and a nice even rich patina. The special feature of this holster is that it removable skirt. Just unsnap the snap and the skirt comes off. Here I show some of the small frame revolvers that this holster fits, there are probably many others. The Hermann H. Heiser Manufacturing Co. made this beautiful holster from Premium Skirting Leather. This holster is properly marked with the H. H. Heiser Denver Colo. Trademark " In an Oval " makers mark. You will note it has no safety strap as many Heiser holsters have, giving it the feel and appearance of an early frontier holster.
The leather is fully alive and will provide a century of wear ready to use.
