Herman H. Heiser holster for a up to 8 inch barreled revolver
Description: VINTAGE "H.H. HEISER" HOLSTER Few people realize that Herman H. Heiser was an accomplished saddler in the 1860s and moved to Denver in 1874 to open a shop there. This holster can hold a variety of long barreled revolvers. Such as the Colt S.A.A. 7 1/2", Colt New Services 7 1/2", S&W Model 29 8", S&W D.A. Frontier, S&W New Model No. 3, S&W American (8") and a wide range of others. For every 10 Heiser holsters I have found I might find one 7 1/2 and none that would accept an 8" barrel. A unique addition suitable for the finest collection.. A H. H. Heiser model #453 Double Loop Right Side Holster in excellent using condition. No loose lacing, no scars, no scratches, just nice even rich patina. The Hermann H. Heiser Manufacturing made this beautiful Holster from Premium Skirting Leather. This is a gorgeous holster properly marked with the H. H. Heiser Denver Colo. in an oval and bar maker's mark logo which would date this holster from 1910 through 1955. You will note it has no safety strap as many Heiser holsters have, giving it the feel and appearance of an early frontier holster. The special feature of this holster is that all edges are raw hide laced. The leather is fully alive and will provide a century of wear. We always answer questions and entertain offers.
