Description:
Large Gambling Hall, turn table Poker Chip Rack. The chips are Victorian era clay chips. Housed in a massive solid walnut rack with slots for two decks of cards. The set has a walnut covered with an opening for the handle to pass through.
The round case is 10 1/2 inches in diameter, by about 7 1/4 inches tall including the carry handle. There are 12 stacks of chips, each stack has room for 25 chips a total here of about 282 chips. Room for 100 chips in each color: red, blue, and white. The chips are 1.5 in. in diameter with no markings. They are not chipped or cracked. Fully loaded this set weighs about 15 lbs
It is a wonderful large gamblers set. The rack is in very nice condition the few missing chips do detract a little, but to find such a nice set is very unusual. I have included 1 set1 of old cards.
