Original Antique Civilian full flap holster
Description: Full Flap Civilian Belt Holster. This holster will hold your antique 1873 Colt 7 1/2 inch barrel , 1875 Remington 7 1/2 inch barrel, 1860 Army 8 inch barrel, 186l Navy 7 1/2 inch barrel, 1858 Remington 8 inch barrel, 185l Navy 7 1/2 inch barrel and all conversions there of. It will not fit Dragoons or Walkers. This holster was worn by civilians. This holster is made from 6-7 oz leather. Sewn with yellow linen thread. Has an open toe with a full flap that closes on a brass stud. The boarder stamping and rosette stamp are the only adornment on the pouch. It has light crazing on the surface but no deep cracks and none are through and the leather. It is not flaking. It has no tears on the pouch and all the stitches are intact. The belt loop on the back has a small tear but is not broke through. The belt loop has the catalog number 105 and the Caliber number .44, which definitely suggests it was intended for frontier wear.
