Original Antique shotgun chaps usable.

This nice pair of “Restored” chaps have been brought back to using condition by Mary Ann, my very talented leather artisan. They still retain the beautiful patina of days of ranch work, on smooth dark brown leather. They have a great looking basketweave waist band with new belt expertly replace with hand stitching through the original holes. Also recreated were the fringe and concho band with new conchos added.  They have the original classic large patch pockets. The leather is very flexible and would be wearable for trail rides, cowboy shooting or re-enacting. The legs have 11 new conchos down each laced leg seam, with replaced thin cut fringe that you see in the old photos. All the original buck lacing and stitching is intact. Absolutely great original use patina.
These chaps are an 1870s to 1900 style. Made of chaparajos leather. Upper sides and fly area re-enforced with a double layer of leather. Has two flap pockets with brass snaps to secure them. One pocket flap has a brass snap with an original American Indian design on it. The other one is just plain brass. All stress points are intact.
The out-seam is 39 inches, the inseam 27 inches, the waist belt overall length is 36 inches. If you wear them you might want to add some length to the belt.
