Sealed Box of Winchester 1873 44-40 WCF Ammunition - RARE & Highly Collectible - High Condition!

Description:
VERY RARE and HIGHLY DESIRABLE collectors ammo in a SEALED CARTON in VERY HIGH CONDITION. The discerning cartridge collector knows, that only a handful of these sealed cartons are known to remain, and you'd be hard pressed to find a finer example than this! Even those in lesser condition only come onto the market every few years, and command a high premium.

Two piece cardboard box with paper labels contains 50 brass case cartridges loaded with 40 grains black powder and round-nosed, flat-tipped bullets. Paper sealing of all sides with black printing and image of a model 1873 carbine. Green top label shows cartridge, image and printing also in black.

Fine condition. Top label and sides. Sealing intact. All illustrations and lettering are unmarked. Short separation of bottom edge seam on boxes. Cartridge image end and a small piece of transparent tape at adjoining side. Remnants of 2 South Carolina $0.08 business stamps above the cartridge image.

The box has been neatly wrapped by a previous collector in cellophane. An excellent accompaniment to any fine Winchester Model 1873 or advanced Winchester collection.
