C96.Mauser Project Pistol-c.1910-NOT Bolo-missing Holster

I inherited this Pistol, so,..I cannot relate much to its former owner(s)..but this is a Very presentable Mauser.As best I can estimate..this was Mfg'd. around 1910...it has the USA-New York stamp on the L.S. panel+vonLengerke-Detmold-New York...shortly after, Mauser changed Importers. NOTE..This was NEVER cut for stock..but came w/ a leather holster..which has rotted away. The bluing looks old and OK..But I am NO authority on such. The pistol seems to function fine-But, It has (2) safeties for which I cannot opinion "why"..Obviously, they BOTH seem to function well..and perhaps one is simply a "back-up to the Original...? Note the Hammer "hole"..there is a 'wire that passes thru the hole which the Thumb can easily rotate to separate hammer from F'pin..!--Quite "unique" esp. for a C96 having so many "safety" updates..!//Starngely, what I feel makes THIS particular Mauser IS the L.S. Grip panel. It has a Swastika emblem from some organization within Brooklyn,NY-USA//ALL parts that have Numbers ALL match..!..obviously, THIS is qiuite a Rare specimen..!..There are NO Military stampings on the Metal parts.-S&H to your FFL=$38.00..Signature Confirmation/Ins.
