This is a consignment item from a local collector.
This is an early (1934/1935) example of a 1st Model Luftwaffe Officer Dagger. It is in overall excellent with an unmarked blade (a few light scratches and scabbard rub and small ding near the tip). The original leather stopper is still present at the base of the blade. The pommel and hand guard retain a nice gold original finish on the logos. There is some wear present on the handle, but no major imperfections and the chord is wrapped tightly. The scabbard is in great overall condition as is the chain. OLC maker stamped on the clip.
