Rare Savage 1911 slide. These are getting harder to find. Savage was contracted during WW1 to make 1911's but never completed any whole firearms. Clawson details these on page 29 in his book. Slides and other parts may have gone to arsenals for later refurbished guns. Has firing pin and extractor. 90% blue finish fading. Would make a good mate to an early frame. Shipping to lower 48 only.
