"German Luftwaffe Saber 1st model (SW1426)

Description:
"

Rare German Luftwaffe (Air Force) saber. The engraving on the pommel and feathering on the cross guard are sharp. The metal parts have begun to tarnish. The blue Morrocan leather scabbard and grip are in very good condition. The dual twisted aluminum wire on the grips is in excellent condition. The blade is marked Solingen and ""eagle 5"" proof. There are some light nicks and dings. A fine example.
