U.S. Model-1872 Indian Wars Sword Hanger

Description:

This is an original U.S. Army Model 1872 Indian Wars Sword Hanger in nice untouched condition. The leather is strong and supple but does show some age and surface cracks. One strap is 25-1/4” long to the end of the catch and the other is 11-1/2” long to the end of the catch. The back of the brass hanger is stamped R.I.A. (Rock Island Arsenal) Please e-mail me with any questions.
