"Made by Shannon Miller & Crane in New York. 30" blade that is nickel plated with gold gilding. The blade is marked with the recipient, “John D. Crouch" name along with the names of the presenters. Blade is near new condition. Guard is excellent cast brass with gold gilding. Grip is tortoise shell. Condition of the sword is near new condition. The scabbard is nickel plate with gilded brad relief mounts. The presentation reads “Presented to Commissary Sergt. John D. Crouch/ by the Non – commissioned Officers of the/ Second Company, 7th Regt. N. G. N.Y." Absolutely beautiful sword! (DALLAS LOCATION)
