CIVIL WAR N. P. AMES U.S. MODEL 1860 CAVALRY SABER DATED 1865 WITH ORIGINAL SCABBARD .41” o/a with 35” blade signed on the ricasso “AMES MFG. CO./CHICOPEE/MASS” and on the obverse “U.S./G.W.C./1865”. All original and very good plus with the original leather grip wrap and wire. Has all the correct Ordnance stamps and has the original patina on the brass and blade. Original scabbard with old black Japanned finish. Nice all original Ames Model 1860 Cavalry.
