Mexican 1889 Remington Rolling Block Bayonet & Scabbard
Description:
This is a Mexican 1889 Remington Rolling Block Bayonet/Scabbard/Frog, the 8 1/4" blade is in good unsharpened condition with oxidation and nearly unmarred edge and nice tip with a triangle with a T in it near the ricasso. The guard shows signs of normal wear and some oxidation and is unmarked. The handle scales are matched in size with a light patina with dings and scratches on both sides. The tang and rivets have scattered oxidation. Lastly ending in a functional rifle lug pommel with oxidation and no markings. The scabbard is not marked and in good+ condition with nice dark leather with some loose stitching and light surface oxidation. This example is unmarked by Remington and is minus the quillion.
