U.S. Model 1873 Springfield Trapdoor Rifle Bayonet with Scabbard, N.J. Marked

Description:
This is an original U.S. Model 1873 Springfield Trapdoor Rifle Bayonet with Scabbard. The bayonet and scabbard measure 21-1/4” overall with a blade length of 18”. The blade is spotted with light rust marks and is in untouched condition. The blade is marked U.S. with an “F” under it on the ricasso area of the blade. The scabbard has lost most of its original finish. The leather belt loop is in nice condition and has brass N.J. button. Please e-mail me with any questions.
