Japanese Type 99 LMG muzzle cover

Description:
Here is an original muzzle cover to keep dirt, sand, mud, and debris from entering the muzzle of a Jap 99 Light Machine Gun. There is about 50% of the original blue finish still on the surface. This is a very hard accessory for the Type 99 as most were lost or discarded. The flip cap is detented by a spring attached to the body of the muzzle cover. The cover still works as intended.
